This week, I was in the city-so by myself, with my miserable sense of direction-I decided to set out and WALK to AGP! (If you know the city-I was on 2nd Ave, 79th street and walked to 5th and 49th). Well I found it. Rich laughed about it though-because I can barely find my way around town, much less anywhere-but yet I knew exactly how to get to AGP!
So I got there-it wad not too busy, being around 11 in the morning, and not a weekend. I dropped Emma off at the doll hospital, returned Kit for a new Kit. (I wasn't fond of the old one's wig, there were a lump that looked like she got hit in the head) The new Kit I got has a more unusual bob cut-there is a piece of hair in the front, that if you uncurl it, it goes down to her mid-stomach. I thought that was so neat!
I got the beach accessory set for 14. It came with a towel, tote, sunglasses and shoes to match the new bathing suit.
I also got the new jacket and shirt.
I got the Tap Outfit (since it may be gone soon) The shoes were a little tough to get on, but it is adorable.
I also got Kit's Waffle Iron. I love this! I'm surprised that it is only 18. I am wondering if this is going to be a store only product-they had bunches of them, plus it was on display in the Kit section-and it was in a new box.
I almost walked out with Samantha and Penny-but I needed that money for Emily and her things...so hopefully soon, I'll bring Sam and Penny home
Oh, I saw 15 and 14 on display EVERYWHERE there-modeling clothes, on the floor, so I don't know about the retirement of those two. They were sold out of the doll bathing suits, and both kinds of doll totes. (AGP exclusive and the new one)

Sounds like you had a great trip! (Very interesting about the Waffle Iron, too.)

It sounds like a great adventure with a fun destination! It also sounds like you got some very nice items. If possible, could you post pics? I don't think anyone has posted pics of the new beach set. Thanks for sharing and Congrats on your new doll!
